What To Know About Shebah Rideshare For Women

Taking on rideshare giants like Uber and Lyft is no small feat, but Shebah rideshare is hoping to be a direct competitor in the rideshare market with a twist. The service will focus on providing safe commute for women through an all-female network of drivers. The initiative is to help women feel safer and also eliminate concerns they might have about being by men. Uber and other rideshare companies have faced a lot of backlash and lawsuits stemming from driver misconduct and sexual harassment.

A number of rape and assault cases have been brought against various Uber drivers around the world. An Indian Uber driver was arrested for raping a female passenger in December, of 2014. In 2017, an Uber passenger in Virginia was abducted and sexually assaulted by an Uber driver after he picked her up. Lyft has also come under attack after one of its drivers in Mandan allegedly assaulted a passenger sexually in August, 2018.

To say there is a need for a rideshare service that gives women a sense of security is an understatement. Shebah rideshare is hoping that its service will give women more transport options to choose from. Shebah rideshare
