Taxify is one of many rideshare companies trying to out-rival Uber in the industry. Despite current setbacks Uber Technologies has experienced, the ridesharing giant continues to remain an industry leader. Uber continues to make giant strides in various markets by introducing new features to encourage patronage.
Uber launched the 180 days of change in June to improve driver experience. The rideshare company also launched in new markets like Dhaka to help ease traffic in the congested city. These actions have been met with rebuttals by other competition rideshare buinsesses. Now, Taxify has expanded its services to Sydney to compete with Uber in the Australian market. As of November 2017, the rideshare company operates in 20 countries and 30 cities world-wide.
